Question by Salsera: Where can I find rueda de casino in Santa Barbara?
I currently live in L.A. which has a few rueda de casino classes here and there, but I’ll be going to UCSB this upcoming fall for grad school and I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a rueda de casino scene to be found there. I’ve tried searching a bit myself, but have come up empty handed. I’m hoping some of you might know something I don’t know. Any help and or suggestions would be much appreciated. I am actually at the point of considering starting my own rueda de casino group there if I can master it in time to do so. Thanks ahead of time.

While there are numerous places for ballroom/latin dancing in the area, I do not know of any groups doing rueda de casino in particular. However, you should look into the Oxnard Salsa Festival this weekend and you might meet people who dance that style.
